FREE* On-Site Tech Booth
Are your students too busy to make it to the repair shop? Do you feel like your band would sound better if more of your students took the time to get their instruments checked over by a professional repair technician?
Well, you’re in luck!
For a limited time, I’m offering FREE Tech Booth appointments.
What does that mean?
I’ll arrange a time with you, either during class or after school, to set up a repair bench in your classroom.
I’ll provide free repair evaluations and minor repair / adjustment services on site, and if your students really need to take their horns into the shop they can hear that from a professional repairman.
At the very least, they can get an idea of what needs fixing and how much it might cost, and at best they’ll walk away with an instrument that works much better than it did at the start of the day!
What sorts of things can I fix at the on-site Tech Booth?
Single pad replacement
Tenon corks / key corks / water valve corks
Regulation / timing adjustments
Sticking valves / slides
General Adjustments for woodwinds, brass, and strings
Minor bridge / peg / sound post adjustments
And more!
Tech Booth appointments are limited to a maximum of 1 hour.
Currently, Tech Booth appointments are free of charge.
Limit 1x per month per school band or orchestra program (if you need more, let me know and I’ll see what I can do).
Appointments are typically only available within a ~15 mile radius of my shop (Forsyth, Davie, and parts of Davidson and Yadkin counties are my typical destinations).
Feel free to inquire if you think you’re too far out - I’ll see what I can do!
The number of repairs will obviously be limited by time, equipment, and supplies available.
FREE* On-Site Bulk Repair Evaluations
Do you have a pile of instruments that are out of commission? Curious to know what it’d take to get them up and running again?
If so, I have good news for you!
I am available for on-site bulk repair evaluations upon request.
I’ll set up an appointment (typically 30 minutes) to meet you in your classroom to look over your broken down instruments.
I’ll provide on-the-spot estimates so you have an idea of what’s worth fixing, what’s due for the junkyard, and what to budget for in the future.
If you’d like, I can take some instruments back to the shop for repair.
Formal written estimates (for the treasurer or county purchasing department) can be provided if requested.
Currently, bulk repair evaluations are free of charge and available by appointment only.
Appointments are typically only available within a ~15 mile radius of my shop (Forsyth, Davie, and parts of Davidson and Yadkin counties are my typical destinations).
The number of estimates provided will be limited by available time.
